Covid-19 Infection Protection and Clinic Policies

All of us have been affected by the Coronavirus(COVID-19) pandemic. Your safety and wellbeing is my highest priority, and therefore some of the Covid Protocols introduced in 2020 are still implemented within clinic to ensure I can reduce the risk of spread/infection/contamination.

Enhanced cleaning regimes remain in place and although the wearing of mask is not mandatory, the wearing of masks has now moved to a patient /practitioner choice. Payments of treatments will continue to be made by Debit/Credit Card or Cash.

Booking Appointment

Appointments can be made directly with myself on the usual number or at your appointments.

If I feel ill or have symptoms of C0VlD-19, I will self-isolate immediately and not come into the clinic. This may mean that I must cancel your appointment at short notice. I appreciate that this may be inconvenient, but this will be done entirely for your own safety. If your appointment is cancelled, you will be able to re-book again, following any isolation period.

If you  feel ill,  display any symptoms of C0VlD-19, or test positive for Covid-19 please advise me as soon as possible, and DO NOT COME THE CLINIC FOR YOUR APPOINTMENT.

You must give a minimum of 24 hrs notice of cancellation.  Cancellations with less than 24 hrs notice will incur a £35 charge. Missed appointments, with no cancellation will incur a FULL FEE CHARGE.

Visiting the Clinic

When you arrive at clinic please ring on the doorbell and either Natasha or the clinic receptionist will greet you.  Masks are no longer required to be worn. should you wish to wear a mask this will be completely acceptable and if you would like your practitioner to wear a mask please indicate this when you arrive.

Please attend your appointments as close to the appointment time as possible. Please do not turn up late to your appointment as this will mean a shorter treatment time, but you will be charged for the full appointment.

Since Covid-19, I have increased the frequency of cleaning in the clinic including making sure that the treatment couch, face pillow, common surfaces, debit/credit card machine, door handles, etc. are wiped clean using disinfectant products with between each patient.

All tools and equipment will be disinfected in line with the specific manufacturers’ instructions for your safety.

Wherever possible I will utilise environmentally friendly, single use items during a treatment.  These items will be disposed of safely, after use, in order to protect you from cross infection.

You will NOT be expected to wear a face covering in the clinic BUT I will totally understand, and not be offended,  if you wish to wear a face covering during your treatment.

Treatments

I have carried out a risk assessment on all treatments and I am confident that I can continue to provide treatments safely.

I will be offering 30-minute, 45-minute and 60-minute appointments, and I will be keeping to these times strictly, so please make sure you book the correct amount of time that you wish to see me.

Before your Treatment

All hard surfaces, including the treatment couch and the wipeable face pillow will be sanitised.

During your treatment

I understand the importance of hand hygiene and I will ensure that I wash my hands, with soap and water, in accordance with NHS recommendations, before the start of your treatment.  I will also hand sanitise using the hospital grade and WHO approved sanitiser.

I will make your treatment as safe and as comfortable as possible. If you have any concerns about your treatments, please let me know and I will do what I can to relay your fears.

After the treatment

Please get up from the couch and re dress.

I will only be accepting payment for treatment via CASH or by Debit/Credit Card.  The Card Machine will be disinfected before and after every use.  If you wish to pay via Bank Transfer this must be done before treatment.

I will book your next appointment onto the online system whilst you are dressing.  You will receive confirmation of your next appointment via Email.

All patient notes will now be entered onto a Secure Online Programme, which complies with GDPR regulations.  No paper files will be used.

All these procedures have been implemented for OUR safety. I will continue to take advice from the Government, PHE, BEIS and the NHS regarding safe practice and will amend these protocols, as necessary.

Thank you for your understanding at this challenging time.
